Guess who got a boat? Blogger Laurent Gouezigoux now an official competitor in the Circuit Figaro Bénéteau

In March, we published a post about Laurent Gouezigoux, the TypePad blogger and skipper who was looking for sponsorship to compete in the Circuit Figaro Bénéteau. So impressed was the TypePad team that we offered 10% off annual TypePad subscription for donations of 10 euros or more (20% off on donations of 50 euros or more).

Well, the good news is that Laurent has secured the funding necessary to get himself a boat and is now an official competitor on the circuit for the upcoming season!

Thanks to the support of friends, bloggers and everyone who understands the value of a real passion (including Le Figaro Magazine, who spoke of TypePad's collaboration with Laurent in their article "Le mécénat virtuel met les voiles"), Laurent is well on his way to fulfilling his dream.
