Sandbox for Movable Type

Wednesday at Six Apart is the day of the weekly hackathon - a full day of playtime in the Dev Department. At times, these creative sessions can turn out some pretty impressive results.

Witness Sandbox for Movable Type, created by Beau Smith and Bryan Tighe. An MT plugin, it allows for radical changes in the design of existing blogs through the magic of CSS. It is also useful for those who are migrating from WordPress to Movable Type and want to keep their current design.

Sandbox for Movable Type is based on the original Sandbox, a WordPress tool created by Scott Wallick and Andy Skelton. It has served as the foundation of many a blog since its introduction, offering a flexible and workable solution in blog design. (At left: Blackbox by Hillary Louise Johnson)
