Festival de Romans
In its second year, the Festival de Romans is again in search of the web's brightest talent, to be celebrated in the picturesque town of Romans-sur-Isère on 18 - 20 April 2008.
Any amateurs with their own site/blog/online presence can participate in one of 5 broad categories: Visual Arts (comics, photography, web and graphic design, illustration, painting etc); Video Arts (comedy, fiction, documentary); Music (pop, rock, rap, hip-hop, R&B, electronica); Literature (fiction, novels, erotica); or Blogs (biographical, food, beauty and fashion, tech, politics, travel). The contestants are judged by a panel of judges featuring the movers and shakers of each respective field.
This colorful and innovative festival was put in place by longtime TypePad blogger Christophe Ginisty, who employed Movable Type 4 for the official Festival de Romans site.
